Great to see Loving Mr. Lincoln today at Marietta Kiwanis.  It was so interesting and Kay duPont brings Mrs. Lincoln to you with her presentation – takes you back in time and brings her to life!  I can't wait to read the book.
Holly Comer, CEO & Executive Director, YWCA of Northwest Georgia Inc.

I greatly enjoyed your presentation and performance that you recently made to Kiwanis of Marietta. So much has been written about Lincoln, but hearing things from the perspective of Mary Todd Lincoln was interesting, entertaining, and original. Your ability to slip into character and talk to us as she would made us smile and had us engaged. Thank you for sharing this unique piece of American history with us.

I'm writing to tell you how much the participants (and staff!) of Plymouth Harbor enjoyed your enjoyable and informative presentation about Mary Todd Lincoln on April 26. We learned so many interesting facts, and you presented them with excited and interest. Some comments made by participants included, "I just knew there was more to Mary Lincoln's story--I just knew it!" and "Gosh, we learned so much that we didn't know." The participants were involved and attentive the whole time. You truly have developed a unique presentation, and we are so grateful you took the time to come to Plymouth Harbor. I'm sure your presentation is enhanced by the costume you wear for other performances, but we could just picture her as you talked. What an interesting person, and an interesting time in history.

Kay duPont recently did a presentation for the Friends of the Braselton-West Jackson Library's Lunch and Learn Series, and it was excellent. She is not just a Lincoln expert, but a very entertaining speaker and our audience loved her.  She has researched her subject thoroughly and knows what she is talking about. She could, and did, switch from giving us background history on the Lincolns' life together to speaking as Mary Todd Lincoln herself. As Mary spoke, we felt that we were there, seeing and hearing Abe Lincoln just as she saw him. If you are looking for a good speaker who will keep your audience's attention, Kay duPont is just the one you are
looking for.

I was so glad that we were able to arrange for all three of the programs you provided for us at The Reserve at Lake Keowee. I thought you should know the property owners at The Reserve really enjoyed both the author talk on Thursday night and the performance on Saturday morning. I think they were as impressed as I was with your vast knowledge of the Lincolns. The author talk was interesting and informative. We all learned facts about the Lincolns we didn’t know before. And the performance was moving ... particularly when Mrs. Lincoln was talking about the loss of her children. I thought each program complemented the other very well. Additionally, the presentation to the school group on Friday was fantastic ... a kind of melting of the author talk and the performance in one, but with the interaction children thrive on. The children were very attentive and interested in what you had to say, which I think is a tribute to your ability to present the information and communicate well with the group. Thank you for coming to The Reserve, and please give my best to "Mrs. Lincoln."
